Birthdays!

We celebrated THREE birthdays on Saturday!  It was a hectic day, but overall, I'm glad we got it overwith in one shot.  First, Bauer and Farmer had a party with some friends.  It was a "Star Wars" theme, and we had Valerie Gomez make the cake.  She did an AWESOME job--she's really talented in creating fondant figurines.  She had made a Little Mermaid cake for our niece last week, and that one was spectacular as well.  Luckily, only half of the kids we invited came to the party because it just so happened to be the rainiest day of the whole winter just about.  Well, at least the bounce house didn't blow away.

That evening was Archer's first birthday party.  Yes, he is one already!   Being the fourth child, he did not get a themed party.  :-)  He did a wonderful job destroying his cake.
